Portage Creek Scenic Float
This scenic float offers panoramic views while rafting through the Portage Valley. The trip starts with a visit to the educational Portage Glacier Visitor Center where informative exhibits introduce you to glaciology and the surrounding Portage Valley. Upon completing your visit to the Visitor Center you join your guide and begin your rafting adventure.

Keep a good look out for wildlife … you might see bears, moose, bald eagles, salmon, and waterfowl. This scenic tour allows for plenty of sightseeing and photo opportunities. This trip offers maximum flexibility; work with us to customize your adventure’s duration and meal options.

Add the salmon bake option, and enjoy an authentic Alaskan meal under Alaska's famous summer evenings. Relax while guides grill fresh salmon over an open fire accompanied by homemade side dishes, dessert and beverage
